GravityFootsteps light and playful  On a cemetery’s lawn,  We dance between the eternities;  Ignorant as we stab each blade of grass  Deep into the earth, where the bones lie.  Shifting them from pre-made molds,  Creating veins within the earth.  Each pounding step a heartbeat  To those who lost theirs long ago;  Their heartbeats.  Their souls.  Each breath we take a countdown  Till they may awaken once again.

DaffodilsThe daffodils are blooming today,  yellow and white and orange,  with long green stalks standing straight.  That one in the middle is trying to stand taller.  He has a message to give;  He wants to talk to God.  There’s no way he can reach,  but he keeps trying,

I left my Heart in Sierra CityThis is where my heart truly lies,  Beneath ancient pines and bright blue skies.  A river flows down from the snows deep into my heart,  When we meet at long last, it’s like we never were apart.  The cold water stops my heart, reawakens my soul,  Electrifies my dancing feet, gives back my life it stole.  I want to drown in the mountain’s raging veins,  Lose myself to reality, erase all worldly pains.  My true freedom lies upon the open air,  Soaring between branches the wind could never tear,  Leaping off cliffs to dive into lakes far below,  Tumbling off mountain peaks to land I left my Heart in Sierra City

CarnivalTonight we let our demons out to play,  Our monsters laugh in childish delight.  With wine in our veins, we turn night to day,  Our shadows flee before the light in fright.   
The flames reflect off bejeweled eyes,  Stray feathers dance through smoke clod air.  There lies a lost soul beneath each disguise,  Women laugh as rum runs wild through their hair.

A Quick Greetings and Salutations

Yes, I am back from the realm of the dead. Yes, I apologize for not keeping up with the many constructive comments and wonderful people I have met on here; that is a big lack of responsibility on my part. No, I am not sure I will be staying here. Once again, this is a place to store some poetry. I will however be working very hard to try to check out the newest stuff everyone has posted. Life/School kind of sucked me dry all of last year, and I realized I missed out on a lot of wonderful material on here.

I am sorry for disappointing some of my watchers on here last year around this time. Let's just say it was a big life-uheaval that I could only deal with away from the internet and the damages it can deal. And I also apologize for not keeping up with e-mail correspondence with my friends on here.

I hope everyone is doing well, and I look forward to reading/viewing your creative work.

    I was really bad off for a long time, but now, I can't remember being happier! I discovered dancing, and now that's my life!

    I know i missed talking to you. My life has been going pretty good so far. I've had my ups and down but my downs haven't been as bad as they were when i first started talking to you. But right now its been pretty steady right now. Dancing...I love dancing. But i only dance at parties. I am more of a karate girl. So what dancing has caught your fancy?
